What To Expect

Free Evaluation

I offer all patients to have the opportunity to contact me via phone call or video call at no charge. This chat is about 15-20 minutes to see if you could benefit from a myofunctional therapy comprehensive evaluation and answer any questions you may have.

Comprehensive Evaluation

This appointment is about 90 minutes in length. We take a deeper dive into your symptoms and medical history. You will be asked to take a series of photographs and videos prior to your appointment.  We will evaluate and examine the muscles of your head and neck, your mouth, and throat. We will discuss any specific concerns you may have.  If there are myofunctional disorders present, we explain how myofunctional therapy can address them, as well as make referrals to other providers as needed.  At the conclusion of this appointment a treatment plan will be formulated based on your individual needs. This exam is $225 which will be collected at the time of service.

*The cost of the comprehensive evaluation is not included in the cost of a therapy program.

Once you are signed up for therapy,  sessions are typically every 2 weeks and are between 30-45 minutes in length. All appointments are virtual at this time through a secure platform called Simple Practice. For optimal results, you will be expected to perform exercises for 5 minutes, twice a day. Therapy is generally 6-9 months.

Cost

During your comprehensive exam you will receive a quote for your therapy package based on an estimate of how many sessions will be required. Therapy packages range from $1,850-$3,000.

A pay in full discount is available as are payment plans. At Revive Myo, we will strive to find a plan that works for you and your families budget. Dental and medical insurance typically do not cover costs associated with myofunctional therapy, however, we do accept funds from HSA and FSA accounts. We are happy to provide you a superbill to submit to your insurance for direct reimbursement if you have coverage. We do not correspond with insurance directly.

Other Providers: Myofunctional therapy often involves a team approach, working with other health care providers to address your underlying challenges and achieve your goals. Other providers may include dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, ENT physician, sleep specialists, and nutritionists, depending upon your specific needs.
